500 blk. of Elm Ave., on Wednesday, May 16th at 8:32 a.m., officer responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victims’ unlocked vehicle and removed coins from the ashtray.

6800 blk. of Westmoreland Ave., on Wednesday, May 16th at 12:32 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) removed the victims’ unsecured bicycle from a porch.

6400 blk. of 4th St., on Sunday, May 13th at 6:29 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unsecured shed and removed property.

Commercial Burglary

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Saturday, May 12th at 11:53 p.m., officers responded to a burglary in progress. A male 25 was arrested on scene after breaking the storefront window and attempting to remove property from the business

Auto Theft

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Monday, May 14th at 11:02 a.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a silver 1997 Honda Accord by unknown means from a parking lot.

Arrests:

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, May 11th at 1:19 a.m., a female 46 was arrested for having two open theft warrants.

7600 blk. of Piney Branch Rd., on Monday, May 14th at 3:29 p.m., a male 14 was arrested for possession of marijuana and later released to a guardian.

6900 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, May 11th at 4:13 p.m., a male 40 was arrested for driving with a suspended license, failure to control speed, and related charges.

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, May 11th at 1:19 a.m., a female was arrested for having two open warrants.
