Theft
Unit block of Hodges Lane, on Tuesday, September 11, at 8:58 a.m., three bicycles and two scooters were stolen from a residential driveway. The property was last seen on September 9th and discovered missing at approximately 8:00 a.m. on September 10th. The description of the property is as follows: Bike 1: black, blue and yellow batman bike; Bike 2: purple mountain bike; Bike 3: pink princess Disney bike. Both Razor scooters are silver with red handles.
Burglary
7300 block of Holly Avenue, on Tuesday, September 11, at 12:21 p.m.,reports of a burglary that occurred earlier sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) made entry to the residence by breaking a rear window lock. No property was taken.
Ward 2:
Theft from Building
7600 block of Carroll Avenue (WAH), on Saturday, September 8, at 9:45 p.m., reports of a theft. A black male, 20’s-30’s, 6’0, 170 lbs., last seen wearing a navy-red striped shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black backpack took property from the hospital.
Thefts from Vehicles
1000 block of Elm Avenue, on Wednesday, September 12, at 5:20 a.m., a call about a theft from vehicle yielded the discovery of four vehicles that had property stolen from them. Suspects are described as: Suspect 1: black male, dark complexion, approximately 16-17 years old, last seen wearing a black skull cap, medium twist, and a beige wind-breaker jacket; Suspect 2: black female, approximately 17 years old, long "stacked" hair wrapped in a black and white head wrap, last seen wearing dark jeans and a black sweater.
Ward 3:
Theft from Vehicle
6600 block of Eastern Avenue, on Sunday, September 9, at 10:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole property.
Vandalism
7100 block of Sycamore Avenue, on Tuesday, September 11, at 11:53 a.m., a vandalism to auto occurred sometime between September 10 at 11:00 p.m. and September 11 at 11:50 a.m. The right rear window to the victim's vehicle had been smashed. There are no known suspects.
Attempt Breaking and Entering
100 block of Elm Avenue, on Tuesday, September 11, at 11:18 a.m., reports of an attempt breaking and entering that had occurred sometime between 11:08 a.m. and 11:18 a.m. A white sedan, possibly Toyota, occupied by three suspects was seen pulling into the driveway. The suspects exited the vehicle and proceeded to the rear of the residence. The residential alarm was activated and the suspects ran back to the vehicle and fled. They were last seen on Elm Avenue making a left on to Pine Avenue. A canvass of the area and residence revealed that the rear window screen had been removed and the lock pried open causing damage. Entry was not made. The suspects are described as follows: Suspect 1: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0, long dreadlocks in a ponytail, last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with #8 on the back and khaki shorts; Suspect 2: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0; Suspect 3: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0.
Ward 4:
Robbery
7600 block of Maple Avenue, on Saturday, September 8, at 7:47 p.m., a robbery occurred at Peter’s Sub Shop. Two male juveniles, both 13 years old, were arrested for robbing a citizen of property.
Ward 5:
Theft from Vehicle
7600 block of Flower Avenue (WAU), on Saturday, September 8, at 1:14 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke out the driver’s side window of a vehicle and stole property.
Ward 6:
Theft from Building
7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Quality Inn), on Friday, September 7, at 1:22 p.m., property was stolen from a guest's room at the Inn.
Burglary
1300 block of Holton Lane (EZ Storage), on Sunday, September 9, at 3:06 p.m., a storage pod was broken into and property stolen.
Arrests:
On Wednesday, September 12, a male, 26, was arrested for "Up-skirting," (videotaping up women's skirts).
On Wednesday, September 12, three arrests were made for Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) violations, theft under $100 and 1st Degree burglary.
