The Maryland-National Capital Park Police – Montgomery County Division is currently investigating a sex offense that occurred at Flower Avenue Urban Park. On Wednesday December 21, 2012 the victim, a male juvenile, reported that two unknown male suspects sexually assaulted him. The victim advised while walking on Hartwell Road he was grabbed and dragged into a dark area of the park, upon which time one of the suspect’s sexually assaulted him while the other suspect held the victim down. After the assault the suspects fled towards Hartwell Road Takoma Park, Maryland. This investigation is ongoing.

Suspect’s Descriptions:

SUSPECT #1 Black male, age between 35 to 45, height 5’07"-5’09", approx. weight 220 lbs., wearing a black hooded (zipper) jacket, blue jean pants, dark colored athletic shoes and gold beads/bands in his hair. Suspect also had a strong odor of alcohol.

Suspect #2 Black male, age between 30 to 40, height 5’11"-6’0", approx. weight 175 lbs., wearing a black hooded Nautica (zipper) sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
