Ward 1:

Assault

Intersection Philadelphia Ave. and Takoma Ave., on Sunday, January 22 at 6:32 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A known suspect assaulted a male victim during an argument before fleeing the scene.

Larceny from Auto

7200 blk. of Spruce Ave., on Sunday, January 22 at 11:05 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a portable GPS unit.

200 blk. of Park Ave., on Sunday, January 22 at 9:18 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered and unlocked vehicle and stole property.

Ward 2:

Larceny from Auto

7600 blk. of Carroll Ave., on Monday, January 23 at 3:58 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) removed property from a vehicle trunk by unknown means.

Ward 3:

Residential Burglary

100 blk. of Lee Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 11:02 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that just occurred. Three known male suspects entered an apartment by unknown means and removed property before being confronted by a resident and fleeing the scene.

Larceny from Auto

6500 blk. of Kansas Ln., on Friday, January 20 at 10:42 a.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) drilled a vehicle door lock in an attempt to gain entry into a vehicle, but fled in an unknown direction when the vehicle alarm sounded.

Unit blk. of Jefferson Ave., on Thursday, January 25 at 11:38 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A male suspect was seen inside the victim’s vehicle attempting to steal property, but fled on foot after being confronted by the owner.

Auto Theft

7700 blk. of Maple Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 4:14 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a blue 2003 Dodge Intrepid while parked on the street by unknown means.

Larceny

600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Tuesday, January 24 at 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. A known suspect used a victim’s food card without authorization.

700 blk. of Hudson Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 3:36 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A known female suspect removed items from a male victim’s room without consent.

Larceny

1100 blk. of University Blvd., on Friday, January 20 at 12:39 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A male suspect removed a pair of shoes from a store shelve and fled without paying.

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Friday, January 20 at 8:35 a.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A known female suspect removed items from a store shelve and left without paying.

Intersection of Carroll Ave. and Glenside Dr., on Tuesday, January 24 at 11:27 a.m., two males 18 and 23 were arrested for possession of marijuana.

Intersection of Holton Ln. and New Hampshire Ave., on Monday, January 23 at 9:49 p.m., a male 56 was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Intersection of Sheridan St. and Sligo Mill Rd., on Saturday, January 21 at 2:20 p.m., a male 19 was arrested for disorderly conduct and related charges.

500 blk. of Sheridan St., on Saturday, January 21 at 2:20 p.m., a female 17 was arrested for possession of cocaine.

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 11:52 p.m., a female 22 was arrested for destruction of property.

Intersection of Elm Ave., and Poplar Ave., on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m., a male 17 was arrested for robbery.

7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Monday, January 23 at 1:39 p.m., a male 21 was arrested for having an open driving without a license warrant.

100 blk. of Lee Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 9:19 p.m., a male 22 was arrested for drug trafficking, possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, possession of a handgun in a felony, and related charges.

7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Friday, January 20 at 5:00 p.m., a male 19 was arrested for having an open robbery warrant.
