On February 26, 2012, at approximately 3:39 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7100 block of 13th Avenue for reports of a theft from auto in progress. The suspect fled in a burnt orange color box-style SUV before police arrived. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the window shattered. The suspect was described as an unknown race male, last seen wearing a black knit hat and black-hooded sweatshirt.
Investigation continues under case #12009383. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
