On January 7, 2013, Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the 7300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). While the victim was pumping gas, the suspect, who was driving a black Jeep Cherokee and described as a black male with a beard, exited his vehicle and entered the victim’s vehicle and took property. The suspect then returned to his vehicle and left the gas station last seen driving towards the District of Columbia.
Investigation continues under case #13001037. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
