On February 11, 2012, officers responded for a theft from auto that occurred in the 6400 block of New Hampshire Avenue (W Express Gas Station). At approximately 2:25 p.m., the victim was pumping gas and then went inside to pay the cashier. A newer style silver Chevrolet Camaro pulled up alongside of the victim’s vehicle and a black male suspect exited and removed property by opening the passenger side door to the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was last seen headed south on New Hampshire Avenue. A look-out was given to surrounding jurisdictions.
Investigation continues under case #12007005. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
