On June 23, 2012, at approximately 2:35 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to Sycamore Avenue and Ethan Allen Avenue for sounds of gunshots heard fired. The area was checked and police were unable to locate any suspect(s) or evidence of a shooting discharge. While checking the area, they were also notified of shots heard fired at Flower Avenue and Greenwood Avenue. That area was checked as well with negative results.
