Gas Station Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On May 19, 2012, at approximately 1:03 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred in the 6400 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Express Gas Station). The victim was inside the gas station store when a black vehicle (4-door Honda or Hyundai) pulled up on the wrong side of the pumps with five black males inside. The driver got out of the car, stooped low and reached into the passenger side window of the victim’s vehicle and grabbed property. The suspect returned to his vehicle and fled. A look-out was given to surrounding jurisdictions. The driver of the vehicle was described as a black male, dark complexion, approximately 5’7, thin build, short dreads, 18-20 years old.
