Shots Heard Fired in the Area of Larch Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue – Community Advisory

On May 20, 2012, at approximately 12:38 a.m., Takoma Park Police received two calls for what sounded like gun shots in the area of Larch Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue. Officers responded and canvassed the area (to include Devonshire Avenue, Glaizewood Avenue and Elm Avenue) both by vehicle and on foot, with negative results. A check was also conducted at Forest Park. No shell casings or any evidence of gunshots were found.

Investigation continues. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
