Stolen Auto - Community Advisory

On May 4, 2012, at approximately 7:43 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station) for reports of a stolen auto. The victim was pumping gasoline when the suspect, an unknown black male, entered her vehicle and fled from the scene towards the District of Columbia on New Hampshire Avenue. The outstanding stolen vehicle is described as a 2007 Acura MDX, dark red or maroon in color, Maryland tag #96839CA.

The outstanding vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database. Investigation continues under case #12021386. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
