Attempt Breaking and Entering - Community Advisory

On September 11, 2012, at approximately 11:18 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 100 block of Elm Avenue for reports of an attempt breaking and entering that had occurred sometime between 11:08 a.m. and 11:18 a.m. A white sedan, possibly Toyota, occupied by three suspects was seen pulling into the driveway. The suspects exited the vehicle and proceeded to the rear of the residence. The residential alarm was activated and the suspects ran back to the vehicle and fled. They were last seen on Elm Avenue making a left on to Pine Avenue. A canvass of the area and residence revealed that the rear window screen had been removed and the lock pried open causing damage. Entry was not made. The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect 1: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0, long dreadlocks in a ponytail, last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with #8 on the back and khaki shorts.
Suspect 2: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0.
Suspect 3: black male, 16-18 years old, 150-170 lbs., 5’7-6’0.
