Stolen Tow Truck - Community Advisory

On September 24, 2012, at approximately 12:07 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue for reports of a stolen tow truck. The outstanding stolen tow truck is described as a 1999 International flatbed tow truck with a black cab and green lettering on both doors along the side of the truck, Maryland tag #03916TT. The tow truck was last seen at approximately 6:00 p.m. on September 22nd. The vehicle was locked.
The outstanding vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database. Investigation continues under case #12047354. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
