Gas Station Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 25, 2012, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). The victim stated she was pumping gasoline with her doors unsecured, and upon leaving, she observed a light on her dashboard indicating that her passenger door was ajar and she noticed then that property was missing. There are no known suspects.
Investigation continues under case #12047573. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
