On January 17, 2012, at approximately 9:28 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue for reports of an attempt stolen auto. Some time between January 16, 2012 at 9:30 p.m. and January 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., there was an attempt to steal the victim's auto. The passenger side front door lock was pried, the steering column was broken and the ignition was punched and laying on the floor. There were also two large rocks inside the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.
