On January 10, 2012, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue for reports of a residential burglary that had occurred some time between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. An attempt at entry to the residence was first made by unknown suspect(s) by pushing open a rear window and cutting the screen without success. At that time, the unknown suspect(s) pushed out a cat door, which was attached to the window, where entry was gained. Property was taken.
Investigation continues under case #12001601. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
