Robbery

7100 blk. of Maple Ave., on Wednesday, January 11 at 8:41 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that occurred that just occurred. Three unknown black males approached a female victim from behind, assaulted the victim, and removed the victim’s purse before fleeing in a waiting vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries. Suspects: 3 B/M’s, 1 unknown driver Vehicle: Possibly Silver Sedan

700 blk. of Sligo Creek Pkwy., on Tuesday, January 10 at 12:18 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole copper pipe from a vacant building.

Burglary

Residential6600 blk. of Eastern Ave., on Tuesday, January 10 at 5:23 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence by removing a cat door and gaining entry. Once inside the suspect(s) stole property and fled the scene.

Auto Theft

600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Friday, January 6 at 8:38 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) broke into a vehicle by tampering with a door lock and attempted to steal a gray 1999 Chrysler Concord but were unsuccessful.

Robbery

7200 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, January 6 at 7:28 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. Two unknown male suspects entered a business and demanded money from an employee and customers at gunpoint. The two suspects then fled in a silver Nissan Maxima south on New Hampshire Avenue. Suspects: #1 B/M, 20-25, 5’10-6’0, thin build, wearing a gray northface, scarf over face, blue jeans, and gloves, armed with a handgun. #2 B/M, 20-25, 5’10-6’0, 155 lbs., thin build, black jacket, checkered scarf covering face, blue jeans. Vehicle: Silver Nissan Maxima.

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Sunday, January 8 at 11:06 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) drilled a hole in a vehicle gas tank and removed fuel.

900 blk. of University Blvd., on Tuesday, January 10 at 10:24 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole a rear license plate from a vehicle.
