On January 11, 2012, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7100 block of Maple Avenue for reports of a strong arm robbery that had occurred. The victim was walking home when she was accosted by three black males who assaulted her and took property. The suspects then fled in a waiting silver-colored Sedan driving towards Tulip Avenue. The victim suffered a minor injury. There is no further suspect descriptions.
Investigation continues under case #12001821. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
