Attempt Strong Arm Robbery - Community Advisory

On March 21, 2012, at approximately 7:28 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 6400 block of 4th Avenue for reports of an attempt strong arm robbery. The victim was walking on 4th Avenue when he noticed a gray Sedan vehicle following him. Two suspects exited the vehicle and demanded property. The suspects assaulted the victim while trying to forcibly remove property from him. The victim flagged down a vehicle passing by and the suspects aborted the robbery and returned to the vehicle and were last seen heading towards Eastern Avenue. No property was taken. The victim did not suffer any major physical injuries. The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: Black male, 16-18 years old, approximately 6'0, thin build, short hair with twists, last seen wearing a blue Nike coat and dark blue skinny jeans.

Suspect 2: Black male, 16-18 years old, approximately 5'0-5'3, thin build, short hair with twists, last seen wearing a red track coat and dark blue skinny jeans.

Suspect 3: Black female, light complexion.

Suspect Vehicle: Gray 4-door Sedan, possibly a Toyota
