On March 30, 2012, at approximately 9:56 p.m. and again at 11:06 p.m., Takoma Park Police received multiple calls for shots being heard fired in the following areas in Takoma Park: Anne Street, Carroll Avenue, Lockney Avenue, Kennewick Avenue, Sligo Creek Parkway and Houston Street. Officers also heard shots being fired. Officers canvassed the areas with negative results.
Investigation continues. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
