Chief Alan M. Goldberg of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Troy Lamont Sweetney, 22, of Temple Hills, Maryland, for auto theft, possession of burglary tools, theft over $1,000, possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) and CDS paraphernalia.
On October 2, 2012, at approximately 12:11 p.m., Takoma Park’s Special Assignment Team (SAT) located a vehicle in a back parking lot in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue displaying tags for a stolen vehicle out of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
