Auto Theft - Community Advisory

On October 19, 2012, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue for reports of an auto theft. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen sometime between 11:30 p.m. on October 17 and 4:00 p.m. on October 18. The vehicle is described as a 2002 blue Ford Explorer with Maryland Tag #53037M5.
The vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database and a statewide lookout has been released by Takoma Park Police Department. Investigation continues under case #12051796. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
