The City will collect tree debris from the storm through the regular Monday yard waste collection program. Branches must be smaller than 3 inches in diameter and less than 4 feet long. Leaves, twigs and vines are collected through this weekly program as well. Items should be in large paper bags or stiff sided containers.
Branches larger than 3 inches in diameter, tree stumps or sections of tree trunks will not be collected by City crews. Residents need to arrange for removal of large tree branches or tree trucks through a private contractor.
Please note, the City cannot remove downed trees or stumps from trees located on private property. The removal of tree trunks or stumps is the responsibility of the property owner. The City will only remove downed trees that grew in the public right of way. Trees from private property cannot be removed by the City. Please do no place tree trunks or large branches from private property into the right of way for collection.
