Ward 1:
Residential Burglary
7400 blk. of Cedar Ave., on Tuesday, October 9th at 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence by unknown means and stole a victims’ handgun.
Larceny
7600 blk. of Takoma Ave., on Monday, October 8th at 8:47 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a victim’s wallet from her purse when it was left unattended.
Ward 2:
Larceny from Vehicle
800 blk. of Elm Ave., on Monday, October 8th at 8:29 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victims’ vehicle by unknown means, but did not steal any property.
Auto Theft
6900 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Saturday, October 6th at 5:02 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) stole a silver 2006 Lexus ES250 that was left running, unlocked, and unattended as the victim paid for gas.
Ward 3:
Armed Robbery
Unit blk. of Elm Ave., on Wednesday, October 10th at 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. Three unknown male suspects approached a male victim doing construction work on a residence. The suspects demanded the victims’ property at gunpoint. The victim resisted and was assaulted by the suspects. The suspects removed the victim’s property and fled on foot toward Elm Avenue and Pine Avenue. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Larceny from Vehicle
6400 blk. of 5th Ave., on Monday, October 8th at 7:23 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) pried open a vehicle door lock to gain entry, but did not steal any property.
100 blk. of Lee Ave., on Tuesday, October 9th at 3:40 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victims’ unlocked vehicle and stole a tablet computer.
Ward 4:
Residential Burglary
Unit blk. of Oswego Ave., on Saturday, October 6th at 4:04 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Two male suspects gained entry into a residence by forcing open a window. Once inside the two suspects removed property and fled in an unknown direction.
Ward 5:
Assault
8600 blk. of Flower Ave. (Tropicana Bar), on Thursday, October 11th at 12:14 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. An unknown male suspect punched a male victim during an argument that turned physical. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Ward 6:
Auto Theft
7500 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Saturday, October 6th at 5:02 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that just occurred. A male suspect stole a black 2005 Infiniti FX35 while it was at the car wash and fled in an unknown direction.

1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Saturday, October 6th at 1:01 a.m., a male 20 was arrested for drinking alcohol in public.
7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Saturday, October 6th at 1:55 a.m., a male 20 was arrested for disorderly conduct.
200 blk. of Lincoln Ave., on Friday, October 5th at 4:44 p.m., a male 24 was arrested for forgery.
900 blk. of Merrimac Dr., on Thursday, October 11th at 2:28 a.m., a male 30 was arrested for having an open failure to appear to court warrant.
600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Tuesday, October 9th at 9:36 p.m., a male 17 was arrested for possession of marijuana.
