Interim Chief Drew Tracy of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Darryl Bouvier Williams, 45, of Washington, D.C., for theft from auto.
On August 14, 2012, at approximately 12:07 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 6400 block of 5th Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland, for reports of a theft from auto in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Williams, who matched the description given in the look out. Investigation revealed that Williams had been involved in several thefts from autos. An inspection of Williams’ backpack contents revealed various property identified by victims.
Williams was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was charged accordingly.
