Strong Arm Robbery - Community Advisory

On August 14, 2012, at approximately 10:42 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue for the report of a strong arm robbery that had just occurred. The victim advised that while walking from the Metro Station he was followed by three suspects who assaulted him and stole property. The suspects then fled on foot into the District of Columbia towards Second Street. The victim did not suffer any major physical injuries. A K-9 track could not be conducted because of the high foot traffic in the area. The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: Black male, 5’6, medium build, last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants
Suspect 2: Black male, 5’6, medium build, last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Suspect 3: No description provided.
