Bicycle Theft - Community Advisory

On August 28, 2012 at approximately 7:27 a.m. Takoma Park Police responded to the 1000 block of Elm Avenue for a report of a stolen bicycle. Unknown suspect(s) removed a bicycle from the front porch of the victim’s residence. The bicycle was last seen there on August 27 at 9:30 p.m. Sometime between August 27 at 9:30 p.m. and August 28 at 6:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) gained access to the front porch, cut the security cable to one of three bicycles, and removed it. The bicycle is described as a bold yellow, 21 speed, Diamondback bicycle. There are no suspect(s) at this time.
Investigation continues under case #12042541. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
