On April 23, 2013, at approximately 11:08 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 200 block of Elm Avenue for reports of an attempt stolen auto and destruction of property. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal a vehicle some time between 1:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m..; the driver's door lock was damaged and ignition was punched. An attempt was made to start the vehicle without success.
Investigation continues under case #13018355. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
